Andhra reshuffles 35 IPS officers

In a major reshuffle of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in Andhra Pradesh, the state government has transferred and posted 35 IPS officers.

Hyderabad: In a major reshuffle of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in Andhra Pradesh, the state government has transferred and posted 35 IPS officers in various departments in the state.

KR Nandan, a 1975 batch IPS officer and Director General of Special Protection Force in Hyderabad, is transferred and posted as Chairman of the AP State Police Housing Corporation.

The state government has appointed PG Kumar, DG & IG of Prisons and Director of the Correctional Services in Hyderabad, as Director General of the AP Special Police Battalions

Kumar, a 1975 batch IPS officer, will replace M Alagar, a 1977 batch IPS officer.

Furthermore, the state government has also appointed AK Mohanty, Director General of Police in OCTOPUS, as Chairman of the AP Road Safety Authority in Hyderabad,

Mohanty, a 1975 batch IPS officer, will replace Umesh Kumar, a 1977 batch IPS officer.

On transfer, Kumar has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (Welfare).

A Sivasankar, Additional Director General of Police (Railways), has been transferred and posted as Director General of the Special Protection Force in Hyderabad

Sivasankar, a 1977 batch IPS officer, will replace KR Nandan, a 1975 IPS officer.

Meanwhile, the state government has also appointed M Bhaskar, a 1977 batch IPS officer and Additional Director General of Police (Legal), as Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase Department in the existing vacancy.

Lokendra Sharma, a 1980 batch IPS officer, has been posted as DG and IG of Prisons and Director of the Correctional Services.

Sharma, presently Additional Director General of Police (Human Rights), will be replacing PG Kumar, a 1975 batch IPS officer.

The state government has appointed Ram Tiwari, a 1982 batch IPS officer, as Inspector General of Police (Organisation). He will be replacing S Venkataramana Murthy, a 1982 batch IPS officer.

On promotion, Venkataramana Murthy has been posted as Additional Director General of Police (Coordination).
Furthermore, the state government has also appointed Vinay Ranjan Ray, a 1986 IPS officer and Director of the Police Communications, as Inspector General of Police, Hyderabad Region. He will be replacing AR Anuradha, a 1987 batch IPS officer.

The services of T Krishna Prasad, Director of Vigilance and Security in the AP State Road Transport Corporation, are withdrawn from Transport, Roads and Buildings Department and has been posted as Director of the Police Communications.

Prasad, a 1986 batch IPS officer, will Vinay Ranjan Ray, a 1986 batch IPS  officer.

Damodar Gautam Sawang, a 1986 batch IPS officer, has been appointed as Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) in Hyderabad.

The state government has appointed Satyanarayan, a 1987 IPS officer, as Inspector General of Police of the Visakhapatnam Region. He, presently Inspector General of Police in the Guntur Range, will replace Batti Lal Meena.

The services of Meena, a 1987 IPS officer and Inspector General of Police, are placed at the disposal of Transport, Roads and Buildings Department, and posted as Director of the Vigilance and Security of the AP State Road Transport Corporation. He will be replacing T Krishna Prasad.

On transfer, the services of AR Anuradha, a 1987 batch IPS officer, are placed at the disposal of General Administration (V&E) Department, and posted as Inspector General of Police (Task Force).

Meanwhile the state government has appointed M Punna Rao, a 1988 batch IPS officer and Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes) in Hyderabad, as Inspector General of Police in CID.

The state government has also promoted AB Venkateswara Rao, a 1989 IPS officer and Deputy Inspector General of Police of the PCS & Standardisation, as Inspector General of Police (Recruitment).

On promotion to the rank of Inspector General of Police, Umesh Sharaf, a 1989 IPS officer and Additional Director of the Anti Corruption Bureau, has been posted as Additional Director of the AP Police Academy in Hyderabad.

Furthermore, the state government has promoted KRM Kishore Kumar, a 1989 batch IPS officer and Deputy Inspector General of Police in the Kurnool Range, as Inspector General of Police of the Home Guards in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Ch D Tirumala Rao, a 1989 batch IPS and Deputy Inspector General of Police of the SIB, has been promoted to the post of Inspector General of Police in OCTOPUS. He will replace AK Mohanty.

The state government has appointed K Narasimha Reddy, a 1989 IPS officer and Deputy Inspector General of Police of the APSP Battalions, as Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes) in Hyderabad. He will replace M Punna Rao.

R Eswar Reddy, a 1989 batch IPS officer and Deputy Inspector General of Police of the Hyderabad Range, has been appointed as Director (Investigation) of the Institution of AP Lokayukta and Upa Lokayukta in Hyderabad.

The state government has appointed N Jayarami Reddy, a 1990 batch IPS officer, as Deputy Inspector General of Police of the Guntur Range. Reddy, presently Deputy Inspector General of Police of Anantapur Range, will replace Satyanarayan.

The services of K Satyanarayana Rao, a 1990 batch IPS (90) and Deputy Inspector General of Police of Vigilance and Enforcement, are withdrawn from the General Administration (V&E) Department for posting as Deputy Inspector General of Police in the CID. He will be replacing Sandeep Shandilya.

Jitender, a 1992 IPS officer, has been posted as Joint Director of the AP Police Academy in Hyderabad.

On transfer, Sandeep Shandilya, a 1993 batch IPS officer, has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police of Visakhapatnam Range.

The state government has further promoted Kothakota Srinivas Reddy, a 1994 batch IPS and Joint Director of Anti Corruption Bureau, as Deputy Inspector General of Police in the Hyderabad Range. He will replace R Eswar Reddy.

Meanwhile the state government has also promoted A Ravishankar, a 1994 batch IPS officer and Joint Director of the Anti Corruption Bureau, as Additional Director of the Anti Corruption Bureau in Hyderabad.

On promotion, the services of N Balasubramanyam, Superintendent of Police of Intelligence in Hyderabad, are placed at the disposal of General Administration (Vigilance & Enforcement) Department, for posting as Deputy Inspector General of Police (V&E) of GAD.

Balasubramanyam, a 1994 batch IPS officer, will replace K Satyanarayana Rao.

The state government has promoted Kripanand Tripathi Ujela, a 1994 batch IPS officer and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) in Hyderabad, as Joint Commissioner of Police (Security and Coordination) in Hyderabad.

B Shivdhar Reddy, a 1994 batch IPS and Superintendent of Police of SIB, has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police of SIB. He will replace Ch D Tirumala Rao.
The state government has also promoted BL Sujatha Rao, a 1994 batch IPS and Deputy Director of AP Police Academy in Hyderabad, as Deputy Inspector General of Police of the Anantapur Range. He will be replacing N Jayarami Reddy.

On promotion, Soumya Mishra, a 1994 batch IPS officer and Commandant of the 8th Battalion in AP Special Police, has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police of APSP Battalions in Hyderabad. He will replace K Narasimha Reddy.

The state government has appointed N Madhusudan Reddy, a 1997 batch IPS officer and Deputy Commissioner of Police of the West Zone in Hyderabad, as Superintendent of Police of Kurnool.

C Ravi Varma, Joint Director of Anti Corruption Bureau in Hyderabad, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police of the West Zone in. He will be replacing N Madhusudan Reddy.
